Spooktacular

Spooktacular is the Halloween event at Ash End House Children's Farm, running through the October half-term. “Our event barn is themed as a winding, creepy trail to reach the friendly wizard, who has snakes and lizards to meet.”

What to expect:

• Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October 2026; entry slots from 9.30am, farm closes 4pm
• Entry to the themed event barn, plus picking a pumpkin and carving it at the farm
• All the farm activities included: “pony sit-on, tractor ride, chat to a chick and brush a bunny”
• A separate pick-a-pumpkin area, so children who are timid about the trail can skip it
• The farm's poster also promises spooky crafts, a lucky dip and prizes for kids in costumes
• Combi tickets add a 2-hour session in The Big Play Barn; its play equipment is for children aged 12 and under
• Book an approximate entry time online; the farm says advance booking is not strictly necessary but reserves your slot
