Get ready for a Spooktacular Halloween Takeover at the National Videogame Museum this October Half-Term! Join us for a week of spooky games, creepy crafts and family-friendly Halloween fun, with a specially selected bundle of games and activities to keep little gamers entertained.
What to expect:
- Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026
- Spooky games in the gallery, including Plants vs Zombies, Costume Quest and the 1987 Ghostbusters arcade game
- Creepy craft activities "suitable for all ages": capture ghosts, make a haunted house, or a costume for a favourite game character
- Fancy dress on Friday 30 or Saturday 31 October: "50% off your admission ticket, plus sweets to take home" (walk-in admissions only, full costumes only)
- Fancy dress competition on those two days, with a family ticket as first prize
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult; under 5s go in free but need a ticket
- Step-free, all on one floor
