Part of the programme at the Gunpowder Mills in Waltham Abbey, a former explosives works that is now a museum and nature reserve. "Kids Open Days are back for Autumn half-term" with "a fun-packed day of Halloween-themed activities, exploration, and hands-on experiences".

- Drop-in making: "Spooky slime making", "Colourful Guy Fawkes-inspired lanterns", "Spooky tie-dye" and "Blow-painted ghost art"
