Spooky Magic Trail at Weald Country Park

Spooky Magic Trail at Weald Country Park is part of the Explore Essex programme at Essex's country parks. Witches, werewolves and magical creatures are lurking in the park: count them as you go, uncover the hidden magic letters and help the rangers create a spell to send them on their way.

What to expect:

• Runs Saturday 17 October to Sunday 1 November 2026 (October half term)
• Times listed on the page: 10:00am - 4:00pm
• "FREE trail sheets will be available to pick up from the café- whilst stocks last!"
• You can also download the trail as a PDF to your phone or print it
• Aimed at primary school aged children
• Finish the trail and send in your answers to enter a prize draw for a goody bag and an Explorer Pass
• "Dress up in your favourite costume and have an enchanting time!"
