About this event
Join us this Halloween at the Laing Art Gallery for our Spooky Special Effects make up class. Young people aged 7-12 work with Special Effects Make Up Artist and teacher Over the Winks and learn how to transform themselves in time for Halloween.
What to expect:
- Friday 30 October 2026, 10am-12 noon
- Strictly for 7-12 year olds; may not suit the faint hearted, as fake blood may be used
- All equipment provided; practise first, then create your own look
- £30 per child (plus booking fee)
- One parent/guardian per child may attend to assist, but materials are strictly for the young people
- Young people may attend independently; an emergency contact form is needed at drop-off
