Spooky Specials is part of the programme at East Somerset Railway, Cranmore Station in Somerset.
Dare to board the ghostly steam train for a spine-tingling journey to Mendip Vale, with terrors waiting inside the ghostly carriage - and back at the station the terror continues.
What to expect:
- Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026
- Trains depart Cranmore at 11.00, 12.30, 14.00 and 15.30 on the standard timetable
- A ghoulish trail to conquer back at the station
- The Station Cafe serves a selection of homemade meals and snacks
- Explore the period Waiting Room, the David Shepherd Discovery Centre and the railway's other historic attractions
- Visit the Station Shop for gifts, but beware of the Old Hag
- The operator's own prices: "Adult £15, Child £10, Disabled/Carers £12, Child Concession £9, 2 Adult Family £42, 1 Adult Family £32" - the standard Advanced Day Rover
