About this event
Part of Manx National Heritage's Hop tu Naa programme, which runs 24 October to 1 November 2026.
Step inside The Grove and explore the traditions and spooky superstitions that shaped everyday life in a Victorian Manx home. Join us for a fascinating guided tour and uncover the beliefs that linger behind the walls of The Grove.
What to expect:
- Thursday 29 October 2026, guided tours at 10.30am, 12.30pm or 3pm
- Lucky charms, household rituals and beliefs about weddings, death, weather and the fairies
- Suitable for adults and older children (recommended age 12+)
- Walking tour of the house and grounds, partly outdoors, with uneven paths and steps: sensible footwear
- Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout; advance booking recommended
- £10 per person plus an optional donation to our Charity
