About this event
Spurn's Wild Wander is part of the programme at Spurn National Nature Reserve, run by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust from its Discovery Centre. “Join Yorkshire Wildlife Trust guides on our new walking tour to explore spectacular Spurn and learn more about the sensational species that call it home.”
What to expect:
- Five dates — 16 and 23 October, 3, 8 and 10 November 2026; all 11.00am–12.30pm except 3 November, which runs 1.00–2.30pm
- “The tour starts and ends at the Discovery Centre and last around 90 minutes, with plenty of stops along the way.”
- How Spurn was formed, the wildlife and migration it is famous for, and the town lost to the sea
- The Trust notes “(please note the tours aren’t suitable for young children).”, though a child ticket is sold
- “Adult: £10.00”, “Child (17 years and under): £7.00” — “(Children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking fees apply)”
