About this event
Streets Ahead is part of the programme at V&A Dundee, Scotland's design museum on the Dundee waterfront.
Streets Ahead is a national design challenge that invites young people to imagine what Scotland's high streets could become. Sixty-three schools from across Scotland took part, with finalists attending a hands-on Design Jam where they developed and prototyped their ideas alongside professional designers. This display presents the finalists' visionary prototypes - fresh perspectives on what our high streets could become.
What to expect:
- On display until Thursday 26 November 2026, in the Upper Foyer
- Open 10.00 to 17.00 daily
- "Free, drop-in"
- "Please note: Streets Ahead will not be on display Tuesday 15 September - Friday 2 October and Friday 13 November"
- Design work made by school pupils from across Scotland
- Led by V&A Dundee's Schools Development Officer, supported by the NCR Foundation
