Sunday Family Sessions: Clay Animal Sculptures

Sunday Family Sessions: Clay Animal Sculptures is part of the Family Learning programme at the Garden Museum on Lambeth Palace Road, London. A free Sunday drop-in where families make something together, taking its cue from whatever is hanging in the galleries.

Inspired by the paintings Rhinoceros II and Koala II in our exhibition, Sabine Moritz: Lie Down in Green Pastures, we will be creating our own animal sculptures from air dry clay.

What to expect:

• Sunday 8 November 2026, 11am – 12.30pm
• “Free. No booking required: first come, first served.”
• “Suitable for all ages 3y+”
• “All children to be accompanied and actively supervised by a parent or carer, who are encouraged to join in with the session too.”
• “Will yours be a koala, rhinoceros, or something else entirely?”
• Air-dry clay, so sculptures go home with you
• Museum galleries, garden and the award-winning Garden Café are on the same site
