Sunday Mill Demonstrations at John O'Groats Mill

Sunday Mill Demonstrations are part of the programme at the John O'Groats Mill, the last working watermill in Caithness. Gear up and watch our mill come to life! Our weekly mill demonstrations run every Sunday from 3pm.

What to expect:

• "Demonstrations typically last one hour and include a guided tour of the mill with one of our knowledgeable local volunteers"
• "With no additional cost, our machinery demonstrations just require a standard entry or valid annual membership"
• On the rare occasions the mill cannot be run, because of staffing or a water shortage, the mill posts on Facebook the day before - or phone 01955 601578 to check
• The mill is open 1st April to 31st October, 10am-5pm with last entry 4pm, closed Wednesdays
• On the A836, half a mile west of the Seaview Hotel, and reachable on foot along the accessible coastal footpath from the John O'Groats Signpost
• The Johnny Groats Shuttle passes the mill five times a day to and from Thurso
