The Abbey After Dark - Halloween Trail

The Abbey After Dark is part of the programme at Torre Abbey in Torquay.

Torre Abbey once again swings open its ancient garden gates after hours, inviting families into a spine-tingling yet family-friendly Halloween adventure: as night falls, brave visitors journey through a creepy trail of spooky encounters, haunting illuminations and hair-raising special effects.

What to expect:

• Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October 2026, open 16:30 to 20:00 each evening, last entry 19:45
• Entry slots every 15 minutes from 16:30; "earlier sessions at 16:30 and 17:00 are ideal for under 5s or those who prefer a gentler experience"
• A trail through the gardens with immersive storytelling, ghosts and ghouls, Halloween treats and frightful games
• "Fancy dress is highly encouraged!"
• Wrap up warm, wear suitable footwear and bring a torch; the event goes ahead in wet weather
• £9.50 per person, £8.00 for 1196 Members, children aged 3 and under free
• The lift at Torre Abbey is currently out of service
