The Big Bat Trail is part of the October half-term programme at Painswick Rococo Garden, the Georgian pleasure garden in the Cotswolds: a hunt for hidden bats around the garden with a prize at the end.
What to expect:
- Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, open every day, 10:00am to 5:00pm (last entry 4:00pm)
- "There are some very cheeky bats hidden in the Garden. Can you find out who they are and learn some brilliant bat facts along the way? Complete the trail and win a prize!"
- "Treat for every child completing the trail"
- "There’s plenty to explore beyond the trail too, including a winding maze, rustic play area, hidden follies and beautiful gardens bursting with the glorious colours of Autumn."
- "Parents can relax and refuel at the Garden Café, visit the Exedra Nursery and the giftshop."
- Free parking, and well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome
- Ordinary garden admission: adult £12.80, child 4-16 £6.00, under 4s free, family £33.00
