About this event

The Jeweller’s Daughter is part of the programme at Bolton Central Library and Museum. A family friendly theatre show full of celebration and culture, telling the story of a little island in the Indian Ocean called Zanzibar, of a girl whose family were forced to leave, and the welcoming community they then found. Based on a true story, with lots of games, colour, costumes, music and memories.

What to expect:

  • Thursday 29 October 2026, shows at 11am and 2pm
  • A jewellery design craft workshop with Natasha the Storyteller starts at 10.30am (and 1.30pm) and leads into each show
  • Audiences of all ages are invited to play, create and help tell the story
  • "Tickets needed per person attending (under 12 months go free)"
