The Mini Ropery is part of the programme at Whitechapel Gallery in London.
We had such fun this summer with The Ropery that we have decided to bring back a mini version of it in October half term. The Ropery took inspiration from East London's rope making histories and was co-created with designer Sanne Visser.
What to expect:
- Wednesday 28 October - Sunday 1 November, 11.00am - 4pm, in the Clore Creative Studio
- Free entry, drop-in
- Visitors of all ages are invited to try hands-on rope making, spinning, twisting and knot tying
- Make rope and string, try braiding and knot tying
- Sanne Visser and Ropery Assistants on hand to help
- A smaller version of the summer's participatory exhibition, with all the same making elements
