About this event
The Pumpkin Experience is part of the programme at Brocksbushes Farm Shop near Hexham. 'This year our farm team have planted over 155,000 pumpkins of various shapes, sizes and colours, all of which are edible as well as decorative.'
What to expect:
- Open 3 & 4 October, 10 & 11 October and every day from 16 to 31 October 2026
- Roaming characters - a Woodland Fairy, Gourda the Witch, Mr Skeleton and Mr Scarecrow - plus a pumpkin house and a new pumpkin castle
- 'Pumpkin carving is returning again for 2026!' - carving kits can be bought in the carving tent
- A Pumpkin Carnival with rides and inflatables, face painting and marshmallow toasting
- Street food on site: wood-fired pizza, fried chicken and churros
- 'Entry tickets are £3.50 per person (ages 3+), but we’re also offering a Family Ticket for just £12 (when booked in advance, on the door price £14) – valid for up to 5 people.'
- Outdoors on a working farm with muddy ground: 'wear sturdy shoes or wellies'. Free parking
