About this event
The Spooky Express is part of Halloween 2026 at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, which runs through October half term. It starts in the haunted Exhibition Shed at Oxenhope and carries on aboard a decorated steam train down the Worth Valley.
What to expect:
- "Perfect for: Families and younger ghosts"
- "Entry to the Haunted Engine Shed at Oxenhope" and "Our live Spooky Show before your train"
- "An allocated journey aboard The Spooky Express" in specially decorated carriages
- "Fancy dress competition – so don't forget your costume!"
- "A Day Rover, giving you unlimited travel along the Worth Valley for the rest of the day"
- Five departures a day, at 10:00, 11:30, 13:30, 15:05 and 16:35
- "PLEASE NOTE: There will be some jump scares."
- Dogs are not allowed on this experience; assistance dogs by arrangement
