The Storycoaster: Children's Creative Writing Workshop

Have you ever started writing a brilliant story – but then got stuck on what happens next? This hour-long workshop for writers aged 7 to 11 will teach you how to structure stories from beginning to end. We’ll explore how the storycoaster takes your characters on a wild ride, giving you everything you need to write your own complete stories. This workshop is part of Colchester Library’s autumn creative writing programme for young writers. This series of workshops for writers aged 7 to 11 and 12 to 17 takes a fun, hands-on approach, led by creative writing tutor Daisy Jones. Each session stands alone, so you can come to just one, or as many as you like.
