The Tale of the Loneliest Whale

The Tale of the Loneliest Whale is part of the Children's Theatre strand in the what's-on programme at Nottingham Playhouse.

Whale sings his heart out into the deep blue sea, but nobody sings back. Just as he is about to give up, a mysterious voice calls through the waves, and Whale sets off through glowing coral caves, past wobbly jellyfish and daring sea monsters in search of a friend who truly hears his song.

• Age suitability 4+
• Interactive puppetry with original songs, playful creatures and audience participation
• Developed through workshops with children, including those with experience of autism, ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, and it celebrates neurodiversity
