About this event
Join us for one of nature's greatest transformations as you become the world's most famous caterpillar from Eric Carle's best-selling book The Very Hungry Caterpillar™. Wiggle along the trail to spot juicy fruits and tasty snacks before emerging as a beautiful butterfly. Along the way, you'll digest fascinating facts and enjoy games and activities around the stable-yard and gardens at The Children's Country House.
What to expect:
- Daily 2 October to 2 November 2026, 10:00–16:00
- Aimed at young children and families
- Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sensible shoes or wellies as there may be muddy areas in the gardens.
- There are no steps along the trail route but there are some inclines.
- Meeting point: Pick up a trail sheet when you arrive at Visitor Services
- No booking needed
