Join us for one of nature's greatest transformations as you become the world's most famous caterpillar from Eric Carle's best-selling book The Very Hungry Caterpillar™.
Wiggle along the trail to spot juicy fruits and tasty snacks before emerging as a beautiful butterfly. Along the way, you'll digest fascinating facts and enjoy games and activities around Belton's stunning Italian Garden.
What to expect:
- Daily 26 September 2026 to 31 October 2026 (36 dates), 10:00–17:00
- Please collect a trail sheet from the Info Hub, to your left as you exit the car park on foot.
- This trail is aimed at children under 5.
- Please dress for the weather and wear wellies or sensible shoes as there may be muddy areas in the gardens.
- This trail will be taking place in the gardens with surfaced paths. There is a changing places facility on site as well as accessible toilets and parking.
