About this event
Thursford's Adventure Play Fair is part of the programme at the Thursford Collection near Fakenham in Norfolk, and reopens for the October half-term week. Themed on a vintage fairground, this 30,000 sq ft outdoor timber play park has a giant helter-skelter, a static Ferris wheel, pedal cars, teacups and a UK-first organ water-splash fountain, linked by walkways, bridges and tunnels.
What to expect:
- Ten days, Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, booked as a timed entry slot
- Slots every half hour from 10:00; "Last entry to Play Fair is 2.30pm" and the park closes at 4pm
- The water fountain closes at 3:30pm – bring spare clothes, a towel and swimming shoes
- The operator describes the park as being for ages 0 to 14, with a dedicated under-4s area
- Large free car park; a catering unit on site serves food, cakes and coffee
