Tiny Turnips Festival 2026

Part of Manx National Heritage's Hop tu Naa programme, which runs 24 October to 1 November 2026.

A playful Hop tu Naa session designed for under 5s at Cregneash Folk Village. Expect a relaxed, hands-on morning with simple crafts, music, messy play, and plenty of space for little ones to explore at their own pace.

What to expect:

• Wednesday 28 October 2026, sessions at 10am, 12 noon, 1.30pm or 3pm
• Designed for children aged 0-5 years; a baby area with toys and books
• Decorate a pre-drilled turnip lantern, turnip printing, sensory bins, a mini Hop tu Naa parade (costumes welcome)
• Toddler songs including Jinnie the Witch with Matt Kelly
• Messy play is washable, but old clothes are recommended; all materials provided
• Pushchairs welcome, though space may be limited; children supervised by an adult at all times
• Adults £10, Children £5, Family Ticket £20 (2 adults 2 Children) plus an optional donation to our Charity
