Trains of Terror

Trains of Terror is part of the 2026 events programme at Fife Heritage Railway in Leven.

Ride the Train of Terror on Halloween on the Fife Heritage Railway's famously Train of Terror Special. Your family will make memories on the Spooky Train as they take a trip on the Spooky Coach through the woodland at Kirkland with haunting surprises and ghostly characters.

What to expect:

• Sunday 25 October 2026, with ten departures to choose from between 11:00 and 15:45
• A heritage train hauls you along the railway's half-mile track and back on a 20-minute round trip
• Ghostly conductors visit the carriage with a trick or treat for all the kids dressed for Halloween
• Plenty of time to have a chat with them and take a Ghostly selfie or two
• Come in Halloween costume - the trick or treat is for the children who are dressed for it
• Tickets £8.00, booked online against a specific departure time
• Departs from Kirkland Yard, Burnmill Road, Leven KY8 4RB
