Visit Santa

Visit Santa is part of the programme at Grampian Transport Museum in Alford, Aberdeenshire.

All the way from Lapland, Santa can't wait to welcome children from across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to the magic of Christmas, inside a handcrafted winter wonderland.

What to expect:

• 12 and 13 December and 19 to 24 December 2026, at several times each day
• See Santa's elves at work, then Santa's helpers guide you to his Alford office
• Children hand-deliver their wish list, sit with Santa, take photos and receive "an age appropriate gift from Santa from his curated collection of presents"
• A ticket covers "Access to the museum for one child and up to two adults"; extra adults pay the reduced winter admission rate, added during booking
• "the Visit Santa experience is designed to be as warm, welcoming and inclusive as possible"
• Afterwards the tearoom has festive favourites and the gift shop is Christmas-themed
• Advance booking recommended; on-the-day places sometimes possible by phone
