Wands, Webs, and Windfall

Wands, Webs, and Windfall is part of the October half-term programme at Monkton Nature Reserve near Ramsgate in Kent.

Forage for fallen leaves to create spider webs and magical wands, and use apples from the reserve to make colourful prints.

What to expect:

• Two sittings: Thursday 29 October at 1pm and Friday 30 October at 11am
• Forage fallen leaves and turn them into spider webs and wands to take home
• Apple printing with windfall apples from the reserve
• Take on the 'Autumn Nature Challenge' and see how many seasonal treasures you can spot
• "Price is per child only. Includes entrance to the reserve." — accompanying adults are free of charge
• £5.00 per child, booked in advance; cancellations within 24 hours cannot be refunded
• Held in a 16-acre former chalk quarry with woodland, ponds, chalk cliffs and a bat cave to explore
• Your ticket also gets you the reserve's trail walks, sculpture hunt, nature bingo and brass rubbing
