About this event
What a Hoot! is part of the Wild Child Workshop programme at Crickley Hill, the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and National Trust reserve near Birdlip. What do owls eat for dinner? Dissect an owl pellet, discover what makes owls perfect predators and wise up to how we can help them.
What to expect:
- Tuesday 27 October 2026, with two sittings - 10:30am-12:00pm and 1:30pm-3:00pm
- Meet in the Summerfield room next to the café
- With games and a craft activity to take home, it'll be a real hoot
- This event is aimed at children aged from 7- 12 years old
- One parent/guardian must attend with their child/children
- Price: £8
- Although much of the session will be indoors, please bring appropriate clothing to do activities outside as well
- Please note: there will be no live owls at this event
- Free parking available; toilets, café, picnic area and baby changing on site. Assistance dogs only
