Whose Green and Pleasant land?

This community-centred celebration brings to life the old and current issues of land access, the enclosure acts and how they continue to effect us to this day. This is a contemporary response to the 1938 pageant written by Vaughan Williams and EM Forster, calling on the community to protect the precious Leith Hill and the Surrey Hills natural environments. The morning performance will be preceded by a pre-show community stage featuring local performers, while the afternoon performance will be followed by a post-show community stage celebrating even more local talent.
