Wild Twilight

Wild Twilight is part of the Exmoor Dark Skies Festival, which runs 16 October to 1 November 2026.

Join us as twilight falls and Ashcombe gardens come alive. We invite families to discover the secrets of nocturnal wildlife and their habitats through nature exploration.

What to expect:

• Tuesday 27 October 2026, 4.30pm to 7.30pm at Ashcombe Car Park, Simonsbath
• "gather round craft tables to make your own wild creations"
• "enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows around a campfire as night descends"
• "Please bring your own picnic dinner"
• "Activities are primarily intended for children aged 6 and up, but younger children are welcome if they are interested and are supported by parents"
• "Please come prepared for wet weather with waterproof coats and shoes" - there is inside space but some activities happen outside anyway
• "No dogs please"
• "Free but donation to CareMoor appreciated. Booking essential"
