About this event
YOG – Newsies is part of the programme at The Albany Theatre in Coventry.
NEWSIES is an inspiring, high-energy musical and it's time to carry the banner and seize the day. Set in the chaotic streets of 1899 New York City, the story follows Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and dreamer who longs to escape the crowded city life. When powerful newspaper publishers hike up the prices of the papers the kids sell, Jack and his loyal crew of underdogs unite, strike, and take on the establishment.
