Maud, United Kingdom•5(21)•Farm, Country Park

Walk with gentle alpacas through beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside on guided experiences for families and groups.

Brucklay Park Alpacas offers unique alpaca walking experiences in the scenic Aberdeenshire countryside. Visitors can enjoy guided walks with these calm, non-aggressive animals across gentle farmland and forestry tracks, creating memorable moments away from everyday life. Each experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes a safety briefing, introduction to all alpacas on the farm, and educational information about alpaca origins, diet, and farming practices. Guests are paired with their own alpaca companion and given time to become familiar before setting off. The walks take place over grass tracks on gentle slopes, with ample photo opportunities throughout. Alpaca walking is suitable for children aged 8 and above, with children aged 9-12 able to participate if a responsible adult leads the alpaca, and those 12-16 years old able to lead their own. Group visits are also available. All visits must be pre-booked by email or text, with typical time slots at 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. Single walkers are welcome, and booking slots may be shared unless a private booking is arranged.
