Become a Family MemberBrilliant staff, however over recent years the quality of the new equipment is not up to scratch, doesn't work as it should, YouTube does not work, despite multiple complaints nothing has been done. You will not able to tell one Bluetooth machine from another. Also complained also nothing done. Someone crashed into the site via the roundabout, 18 months later, temporary fix and fencing still in place. Badminton courts closed without notices, yet other facilities using the hall, received public announcements and Facebook updates The male and female changing rooms were recently shot for approximately 2 months, no notices on social media, just a temporary closed sign. One of the steam room and the sauna was still open you had to go through the female changing rooms which had to be closed in order to access. The lack of appeared scheduling of maintenance and care seems to be severely lacking in recent years. I like the facilities, the staff are brilliant, the price is good. However it appears that maintenance and care is lacking
Huge thank you to the lifeguard for his quick reaction at spiceball swimming today!!! I appreciate that you have managed to get me and my son out of the water on time! Great training and life guarding staff! You was very professional and kind, I hope you are proud of your self and keep up a wonderful work you are doing! Thank you!
I have been swimming here for the last 8 months and I am generally happy with the experience. However, there are some things I think could be improved. For example showers by the pool. There is no way to adjust the temperature so one is usually stuck with using almost boiling water. I think investing some money in proper mixers so that the temperature can be adjusted individually would improve the overall user's experience. Another problem I noticed was that quite a few people completely ignore the signs about not having dirty footwear around the changing stalls and pool. Regardless of that, the floor is clean.
Ive been a member of the Spiceball Leisure Centre for 15 years and my membership has been worth its weight in gold. It offers a huge variety of brilliant, diverse and motivational classes with excellent instructors who are always very knowledgeable, friendly, polite and courteous. There is definately a class to suit everyone. The gym is very well stocked with all the latest equipment and there is always a friendly fitness instructor on hand to give great advice if needed. The changing rooms , shower facilities are spacious and always kept clean and tidy. With an added benefit of a spa area Steam, Sauna etc. Perfect to unwind after a hard day at work or a workout! Swimming at Spiceball is also a positive experience, and the pool always heated to a comfortable temperature. What is special and gives Spiceball the edge is that it has its own unique friendly community where you are always made to feel welcome and part of the spirit of the place , which makes it a fantastic way to meet new people whilst keeping fit at the same time! Not intimidating or clicky at all like lots of gyms ive been to...it has a really friendly but professional atmosphere. Anyone that is thinking of joining to get fit & meet new friends my advice is do it! I highly recommend Spiceball to all ages! 😁
Terrible. You pay for membership, then that make you pay to park. If you are regular that adds up to almost the price of your membership each month. And then they can't even provide hot showers. The showers in the top floor are alwsys cold. I literally just had to have a cold shower..appalling. from the way they make you apy to park I would not be surprised if they turn the heat off to make even more money. This is the only leisure centre I know of that you have to pay to park
