12 Days of Christmas is part of the events programme at the Bolton Abbey Estate near Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Everyone’s favourite festive trail returns. As you walk through Strid Wood, clues connected to the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ carol help you solve the festive mystery on your trail sheet.
What to expect:
- Saturday 28 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, trail open 9am to 4pm
- Activity sheets issued from the Cavendish Shop as you enter the wood
- A linear trail from the Cavendish Shop up to the Strid, following the green trail
- "This is a family event, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Dogs are welcome on a lead."
- "Tickets for the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ event are included in the Estate car parking price. You do not need to purchase any additional tickets."
- Pre-booking the Riverside car park is advised; it is nearest the start
- Warm clothing and sturdy shoes advised
