A Fairy Tale of Frost and Fire

A Fairy Tale of Frost and Fire is part of the programme at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.

The Royal Pavilion's winter display turns the palace into a sparkling, frozen land where visitors hunt for mysterious beasts and mythical creatures among the royal treasures, billed by the museum as a seasonal day out for dragon hunters young and old.

What to expect:

• Runs 21 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, during Royal Pavilion opening hours
• October to March the palace opens 10am to 5.15pm, last admission 4.30pm
• Closed 25 and 26 December and 1 January, and from 2.30pm on 24 December
• "Free with Royal Pavilion admission, members free"
• Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult
• Walk round at your own pace, no set start time
• Father Christmas and Storytime with Father Christmas run alongside in December (separate tickets)
