A Nutcracker's Christmas at Hever Castle

Hever Castle's Christmas season is part of the what's-on at the Kent castle and its 125 acres of grounds. "Begin at Drosselmeyer's workshop, meet familiar characters along the way, and be swept into the colourful Land of Sweets through charming displays." From 4pm the grounds, gardens and lake are lit up.

What to expect:

• Open 20 November 2026 - 2 January 2027; closed 23-24 November and 25-26 December
• Timed entry in 15-minute slots; Daytime or Twilight tickets, Twilight entry from 4pm
• Closing times vary by date - 6:30pm, 8:30pm or 4:30pm - so check the day you book
• "the Castle, gardens, and lake are bathed in festive lights"; "Bring torches and pop on your wellies"
• Decorated Castle rooms and a Tudor Christmas in the Boleyn Apartment
• Christmas trail, costumed characters, maze and play areas
• Fairground rides cost extra by token; height limits apply
• A visit to Father Christmas is a separately booked extra
