About this event
Animal Encounters are part of the free daily programme at Kentish Town City Farm, the UK's first city farm. The farm's own invitation: "Come along and meet some of our smallest, fluffiest residents - our guinea pigs can't wait to meet you!"
What to expect:
- Weekends at 12:00 to 12:30, and weekdays except Tuesdays at 11:30 to 12:00, by the small animal enclosures
- Free, and no booking needed - the farm is "open every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Free entry"
- Meet guinea pigs and the farm's other small animals with staff on hand
- Groups of more than eight people must book a tour or a private animal handling session with the office in advance
- "Please note that we may cancel these sessions in extreme weather conditions"
- The farm is a charity in the London Borough of Camden, free to enter every day
- It is a working farm - wear clothes and footwear you do not mind getting mucky
