Around the World Star Flyer

Try it if you dare! Edinburgh's Christmas hosts the world's largest transportable Starflyer! At a whopping 80m tall, the Starflyer towers over the East Princes Street Garden Christmas Market and provides the finest (and most thrilling!) views of the stunning city centre skyline.

What to expect:

• Runs 14 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 in East Princes Street Gardens
• The Around the World Starflyer is open from 10:00 to 22:00 (last admission 21:30), with different hours on some dates (17 Nov 17:00-22:00; 24 Dec 10:00-20:00; 25 Dec closed; 26 Dec 12:00-20:00; 31 Dec 10:00-17:00; 1 Jan 12:00-20:00; 3 Jan 10:00-20:00)
• Tickets are date-specific, but there are no set time slots - one ride any time that day
• Riders must be a minimum 1.2m in height; riders under 1.4m must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult; no babes in arms
