Artist Makers

Artist Makers is part of the programme at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, County Durham.

A Saturday-afternoon drop-in in the museum's Create Space, where the museum's artists, designers and makers set up materials and anyone can sit down and have a go.

What to expect:

• Every Saturday until 1 January 2028, 1pm to 3pm
• "Make time for making; join in and get creative."
• "An opportunity to try out new techniques, materials and experiment with our team of artists, designers and makers."
• "Drop-in activity in the Create Space, recommended for ages 5+, children under 14 must be accompanied."
• No booking and no extra charge - "included in admission"
• The museum is open daily 10am to 5pm and has a cafe on site
