About this event
The Assault Course is part of the pay-and-play programme at Forest Facility Adventure Centre, 100 acres of private forest on the Burghley estate near Stamford.
Nearly 4km of the obstacles made famous by Rat Race Dirty Weekend, the world’s largest assault course, repurposed through the forest. "It’s NOT A RACE - You don’t even have to run... everything is optional."
What to expect:
- Saturdays and Sundays from 10 October to 27 December 2026, in sessions at 11am, 12pm and 1pm
- 60+ obstacles on a 4km waymarked loop from basecamp, including the Rollercoaster walkways and the giant Ewok Village
- Don’t fancy the wet bits or the high bits? Skip them and carry on
- "AGE LIMIT: Guide of 10+ (Adult consent (signed waiver) required for Under 17s)"
- "DURATION: typically 60-90 minutes"; "from £25 (free squash & water included)"
- Expect to get wet and muddy; a base level of fitness is needed
- Staff chaperones can be added to look after your group on the course
