About this event
Basement & Tunnel Tours are part of the programme at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.
A behind-the-scenes tour of areas not normally open to the public: life below stairs for the Pavilion's servants, the vaulted basement used as an air raid shelter in WWII, and the tunnel to George's royal stables.
What to expect:
- Tuesdays 20 October, 3 and 17 November, 8 and 22 December, 10.30-11.30am
- Every Saturday, 12-1pm
- "Suitable for children over 12, who must be accompanied by an adult (not suitable for buggies)."
- Underground, with low ceilings, steep stairs, uneven floors and dim lighting
- "£15 Royal Pavilion admission must be purchased separately for this event, members discount 15%"
- May be subject to last-minute cancellations and alterations
