About this event
Bee Creative is part of the programme at the National Botanic Garden of Wales in Carmarthenshire. The Garden's own beekeeper runs a hands-on session making beeswax candles and natural cosmetics, with the life of the honeybee and the link between beeswax and skincare woven through it.
What to expect:
- Four dates: 15 and 25 November, 6 and 9 December 2026, 10.30am-2.30pm each time
- Suitable for ages 8+
- Moulded candles, rolled candles from beeswax sheets, and a choice of lip balm, hand cream or soap
- Expert tuition from a professional beekeeper
- All materials and equipment included
- Two handmade candles plus your chosen cosmetic to take home, with recipes to make them again
- Includes Garden Admission
