About this event
The Biofluorescent Night Walk is part of the events programme at Lackford Lakes, run by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. With UV torches provided, venture into the darkness on a guided walk to see fungi, insects and plants that glow in different colours under UV light.
What to expect:
- Wednesday 4 November 2026, 5.45pm-7.45pm; meet at the Visitor Centre
- Suitable for anyone aged 8 years and above; children and teenagers 8-17 must be accompanied by an adult
- UV torches and safety glasses provided
- The walk is slow-paced on uneven terrain: bring warm clothing, sturdy boots or trainers and a torch, and wear trousers against nettles
- £7 per person
- Bookings are non-refundable
