Get ready for a day of wickedly wild adventure this October half-term at Africa Alive. Take on the Super-Natural Scavenger Hunt and embark on a spooky adventure around the zoo, meet fang-tastic minibeasts and discover nighttime creatures.
What to expect:
- Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, during zoo opening hours (10:00 - 16:00 in October school holidays)
- Super-Natural Scavenger Hunt: follow the clues, solve riddles and discover animal facts around the zoo
- Hands-on Fang-tastic Minibeasts sessions and Halloween keeper talks on lemurs and bat-eared foxes
- Spooktacular slime-making workshops: take your gooey creation home
- Beastly Bites: watch cheetahs and hunting dogs at feeding time
- Daily schedule from 10:30 to 15:30, including a giraffe feed at 13:00
- "£1 kids tickets available online and at the gate."
