Bookbug at Livingston Designer Outlet

Bookbug is Scotland's universal early years book gifting programme and aims to inspire a love of stories, songs and rhymes from birth. West Lothian's Bookbug sessions are free, half-hour-ish gatherings of songs, rhymes and stories for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and the grown-ups who bring them.

What to expect:

• The third Tuesday of every month, with two sittings at 10.15am and 11am
• Songs, rhymes and stories for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, with their parents and carers
• The session is in the upper mall, past the Vue cinema
• Free, and no booking is required
• Sharing stories, songs and rhymes supports children's language, learning and social skills - and it is fun, free and simple
• Handy if you are already out shopping - the mall has lifts, toilets and cafes
• Remaining 2026 dates: 15 September, 20 October, 17 November and 15 December
