About this event
BSL Interpreted Walks and Storytelling is part of the programme at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Great Missenden. BSL interpreted storytelling from George's Marvellous Medicine, and a BSL interpreted Marvellous Meander around the village that inspired so many of Roald Dahl's stories.
What to expect:
- Saturday 7 November: storytelling at 11am, walks at 11.45am and 2.15pm
- Storytelling is for all ages and free with museum admission
- The walk is for age 5 and over and takes about an hour
- Interpreted by Helen, who is BSL Level 6 qualified
- "Walk £5 per participant in addition to Museum entry. Storytelling free."
- Signly markers around the galleries show BSL content on a smartphone
- Hearing loop in several galleries; assistance dogs welcome
