Welcoming staff. Nice and informative visit. Two hours in total. Great for our 10 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed the craft themed, on animals, this half term workshop. The gift shop was fab. We enjoyed the chocolate wonka area! Activities for smaller children in the courtyard such as a water tray with toys and a jumbo connect four. Lots of seating too to eat lunch and small snack station. A bonus of a water station too.

Such a wonderful children's museum that the grown ups can enjoy too. It's interactive, colourful and brings the magic of the books to life. We went to a Titchy Toddlers session specifically for 6 months - 4 years and my little one loved the different activities. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going and we will definitely be back.

It’s been an ambition of mine to visit for some time now- we made the pilgrimage today from the Isle of Wight, on our first wedding anniversary (paper, so it seemed fitting) Shout out to the girl on reception who gave me a badge for having an awesome outfit, you were so lovely and I will treasure it! The museum was a pleasure to visit and we (as big kids who read the stories when we were little kids) loved our time there 🍫📚

An excellent place for kids. However, there is lots of reading of notices that is there, and so it's a bit harder if you've got a kids who can't read. However tickets are valid for re-entry for a year 🎉 Towards the back and up in the attic are activities that don't require kids reading (crafts and games) as well as a room for small babies with lots of hard back books, soft toys and a soft mat for babies/young kids

Lovely little museum. We had a great morning, there is lots to learn about Roald Dahl, some fascinating facts, we very much enjoyed it and will be back. Very clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
