Chemistry of a candle is part of the public programme at the Royal Institution in London.
Following last year's sell-out show, the Ri's Michael Cutts and Innovator in Residence David Ricketts present their reimagining of Faraday's most famous Christmas Lecture, The chemical history of a candle. Faraday gave it as six lectures, with over 700 people in the room when he last delivered it in 1861; the Ri Demo Team combine the series into a single talk and a curated array of demonstrations.
