Children's Pottery at Hackney City Farm

Children's Pottery is part of the programme at Hackney City Farm in Hackney, east London.

We have pottery classes for children and adults. The sessions are drop in so no need to book. Our resident potters will help you design and make your own clay objects and the price includes firing in the kiln.

What to expect:

• Wednesdays 15:00–17:00, and three sessions on Sundays (11:30–13:00, 13:00–14:00, 14:00–15:30)
• "Wednesdays: 15:00–17:00 £5 per child"
• Sunday sessions cover hand building, glazing and a turn on the pottery wheel; "13:00–14:00 £5 per child (no pottery wheel)"
• "11:30–13:00 £10 per child" and "14:00–15:30 £10 per child"
• Only two pottery wheels, so no one spends a whole class on a wheel
• Pieces take up to 3 weeks to fire; "Please collect pottery within 6 weeks."
• Drop in, no need to book
