About this event
Choose Skate lessons are part of the programme at The Dome, Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust's flagship leisure centre in Doncaster.
Learn to skate on the UK's only split-level ice rink: lessons follow the Skate UK recognised Learn to Skate programme, starting from SkateTots and progressing from level 1 to ice dance.
What to expect:
- "Every Tuesday and Thursday between 4pm & 8pm" at the Ice Caps
- "Classes are open to all - complete beginners, those with some experience, adults, children, and young people aged 4 and up"
- SkateTots is the entry class and starts at age 4
- Taught to the Skate UK Learn to Skate syllabus, so a child moves up through the levels as they pass each one
- Skate hire is included in DCLT's skating prices, and skating aids can be added at checkout
- A waiver has to be completed before taking part on the ice
- Sign up through DCLT's own Choose Skate page rather than booking a single session
