About this event
Christmas at Kew is the Royal Botanic Gardens' evening illuminated trail, running 13 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.
As night falls the Gardens are lit with light installations, projections and music, with a festive fairground near the Temperate House and festive food along the way.
What to expect:
- Evening trail on selected dates, timed entry slots from 4.20pm to 7.40pm
- Three entrance gates (Victoria, Elizabeth, Brentford); your gate is shown on your ticket
- Light tunnels, large illuminations and a music and light show
- There may even be a special visit from Father Christmas along the way
- Fairground rides suitable for adults and children of all ages
- Ticket covers the evening trail only; daytime garden entry is a separate ticket type
- Adult-only (18+) evenings on 3 and 9 December, so those dates are not listed here
- Quiet Access early sessions are listed separately
